Leadership Team: Joan C. Ragsdale

Joan C. Ragsdale serves as the Chief Executive Officer for MedManagement, LLC, a company she cofounded in 1996 with a group of primary care physicians and a fellow business partner. The original focus of MedManagement, LLC was to allow physicians facilitate physician decision making in the administration of health care services. Since 1996 the company has expanded its focus and currently provides approximately 30,000 physician advisory reviews annually, certifying level of care or continuation of care.

Joan received a Bachelor of Arts degree and a law degree from the University of Alabama. Prior to MedManagement she practiced law in Birmingham where she was a partner with Sirote & Permutt and with Bradley, Arant, Rose & White where she served as Chair of the Healthcare Group.
